At Home Veterinary Services

At Home Veterinary Services provides compassionate house calls for cats to people who want only the best for their kitty. Our mobile veterinary services are focused on their quality of life and comfort as they age. You can expect personal, above-and-beyond care and detailed follow-up to your in-home visits.

We schedule in-home exams Monday–Thursday and in-home euthanasia Monday–Saturday.

Our Difference

We aren't a typical veterinary clinic. Our house calls for cats have no time limits, and you and your kitty receive the full attention of our doctor and technician in your home. We aren't a discount mobile vaccine service. Our focus is on personal, supportive care, emphasizing older cats and cats with chronic or terminal diseases needing medical management.

Hospice and Palliative Care are available to support your cat's quality of life as long as it benefits their well-being. When supportive care no longer enriches your cat's life, we can assist with a peaceful passing at your home.

Our Quality of Life Assessment is an extensive but gentle examination and extended consultation about your cat's health. It may help you determine whether there are options for improving their comfort or whether compassionate in-home euthanasia is appropriate.

We also see younger and healthy cats for their annual wellness exams and vaccines, especially those who do not travel well to a traditional veterinary clinic or experience stress or anxiety at a hospital. Medical treatment, acupuncture, laser therapy, and rehabilitation are all veterinary house-call options for cats of any age. Our in-home examinations range from approximately 40 minutes to over one hour.

Our Doctors

Louise Mesher, DVM, CCRT

Owner Veterinarian

Louise is passionate about helping pet guardians improve their animals' quality of life. There is nothing more satisfying, she believes, than giving a geriatric pet a new lease on life. She has continually worked towards learning new ways to relieve pain, restore function, and provide comfort.

Heather B. Dillon, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Dillon loves the relationships that can develop between veterinarians and their clients and patients. “In a house call, it is even more profound,” she says. “Clients have my undivided attention, and I can get a much deeper understanding of what is happening for the pet.”
